For transfering your films (S 8, N 8 and others) and slides to camcorders or to store on a hard disk, DVD, CD, etc.
Please note that the quality of the transfer is pretty good. But note, not near as good as via professional film scanners.
It is also important that the film projector is synchronized with the video camera in order to avoid flicker (for example, 16.66 frames per second or 25 frames per second)
