VHS-C to VHS Adaptor A sturdy, electromechanical adaptor which accepts VHS-C format compact video cassettes and allows them to be played in a standard VHS video recorder.

Insert an AA battery (not included) to automatically open the front cover and insert or remove the videotape. Please note that 8mm videotapes are not compatible with VCON110BK. Only videotapes with the VHS-C logo may be used.
Please observe the following information and precautions when using VCON110BK in combination with a VHS player and a VHS-C videotape:
– Over the years, dust and grease may have accumulated in your VHS player and VHS videotape that may not be visible to the naked eye and may have caused damage to your videotapes or recorder before use. We recommend that you use a VHS cleaner for your equipment.
– Before inserting a VHS-C video tape, check that the VHS-C video tape has not been taught in. If this is the case, you can reduce the tension on the video tape by unwinding the main wheel of the video tape ¼ turn (90 degrees).
– Use only the normal playback function of your VHS player and avoid fast-forwarding or rewinding if possible. This will prevent unnecessary overloading of your VHS-C video tape.
Please note: Not for 8 mm or Hi-8 tapes to 8mm!
